My parents came down for a visit, to enjoy the peace, quiet and green rolling plains. This is what my Mum cooked for dinner one night.

Most popular method of reproduction in the country. I found plenty of time to relax, and really appreciated not having to drive to work, breathe in car fumes, pass a McDonalds store every two suburbs, or see signboards. The people were very warm and welcoming once they knew that you could be trusted and you weren't just a sexual deviant looking to race your car on the highways and abuse various illicit substances.

Martin, how easy or should I say, how tough is it to emigrate to Australia? I am getting a little tired of US and looking for new vistas.
Hi Jonny. THe laws have gotten tougher, for business people (minimum profit quota) and for students to gain Permanent residents (need to gain successful and appropriate job post studies). I'm not sure where you'd fit in. WIll check it out for you man :o)

Have been surfing a little bit but can't make heads or tails of the info...it appears that there is a high demand for plumbers, electricians, mechanics etc. Wonder if my Form 1 and 2 industrial arts training will suffice? But I am looking along the lines of banking and finance. Plus I read if you willing to work in the outback, application would be easier :-D

Aiseh...no relativeslah...maybe I should apply for school there and fall under the former student category. But I don't want to study anymore..too old for that!!!!
